Bravery, Courage, and HOPE.

As I reflect on our recent banquet, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for 656 BRPC Friends who showed up, gave generously, and celebrated EVERY life with us as God’s masterpiece. If you were unable to attend, I encourage you to check out the “Banquet Highlights” section of this newsletter, and then visit our YouTube account to watch “Felicity’s Story: Bravery, Courage, and Hope” – a powerful testimony of how God makes beauty from ashes when we say “YES” to Him in the most difficult of circumstances.

Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the countless ways you have stood with us in 2025. Because of your generosity, so far, 219 lives have been saved, over 900 medical services were provided, over 1,000 families were strengthened, and the gospel has been shared over 400 times. We are humbled, we are grateful, and we are not done yet!

As the Christmas season approaches, we are reminded of the gift of life itself. Every baby born through your partnership in this ministry is a reflection of the light that shines in the darkness. Your continued partnership helps ensure that light keeps shining brightly in our community.

Please keep us in prayer as we look ahead to 2026. With your help, we can expand our reach, save more lives, provide more medical services, and continue to be a beacon of truth as we share the love of Jesus with those in need.

On behalf of every baby, parent, and heart that now has HOPE – thank you! Thank you for standing with us for LIFE.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may He give us all the strength to keep going until EVERY LIFE is protected and every soul knows they are loved by HIM.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Jane Oliver, Executive Director

2025 Annual Banquet Highlights

On behalf of the BRPC staff and Board of Directors, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended our Annual Banquet on October 18th. We were blown away not only by the attendance, which was our largest yet at over 650 guests, but also by the generosity of our donors and supporters. Together, we raised just over $212,323 to continue to create a culture of life in central Virginia – this is incredible!!

We are also so grateful to our keynote speaker, Nick Freitas, for his message and delivering a powerful call to action. To all of those who made this evening a tremendous success, we are so thankful to each and every one of you.

If you would like to view pictures from the event, click below. If you did not have an opportunity to make a gift, there’s still time! To give, click below as well. Thank you so much for celebrating and supporting EVERY LIFE as God’s Masterpiece!

Patient of the Year Highlight

It was an honor and privilege for us to feature Felicity and her family at our Annual Banquet this year. Felicity is a true pillar of strength, resilience, faith, and determination. She had moved to the Lynchburg area to work on her Master’s degree, but ended up being assaulted on a date. Her story is painful but beautiful, and a prime example of what the abortion industry uses to justify what they do. If you have not had a chance to view our new video featuring her powerful story, please click above.

Unhindered Update

Monthly Support Groups

This year, Unhindered launched a monthly support group for women with abortions in their past. Each month, we touch on a different topic such as Journaling the Path to Healing, Anniversary Grief, and Recovering Femininity, to name a few. The choice to establish this group came from a desire for deeper community and a more honest time of fellowship with women who share something in common. We are grateful to share that this group has succeeded in doing just that! While we have been meeting monthly, we still do offer our Forgiven and Set Free Bible study for one-on-one support. And because we know that abortion is not only a woman’s issue, we also have resources for men with abortions in their past, including a Bible study written specifically for men: Reclaiming Fatherhood. If you see this and abortion is part of your story, we would love to connect you with Unhindered! Click here for more information.

Volunteer Highlight: Dave Paulus, MD

Judy Taylor

Meet Dr. Dave Paulus! Dr. Paulus and his wife moved to Lynchburg 11 years ago to be closer to their adult children and grandchildren. He retired four years ago after 40 years of family practice in Iowa, Nebraska, and Virginia, and has been volunteering as an advocate for close to three years.

As a pro-life doctor, Dr. Paulus referred patients to Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRC) throughout his whole career. He has always admired and respected the work that PRC’s do, and continues to feel strongly about the pro-life cause and helping parents in difficult situations while sharing the gospel. Since he has retired, he has put together a pro-life talk from a medical perspective, entitled When Does Life Begin? Dr. Paulus gave this talk at our Defending Life Bootcamp in September, which you can now watch on YouTube.

Dr. Paulus shared that serving as an advocate involves both challenge and reward. The most difficult challenge as a male advocate is speaking with and counseling abortion-minded men. Particularly with men, the exhortation is to take responsibility for the life of their child. Many times women are in limbo because they are waiting for the father to step up and voice his support for her and their baby. More often than not, it is the father’s lack of involvement, aka “whatever she decides,” that leaves the woman feeling unsupported and that her only option is abortion. The reality is that many still choose abortion, but the reward of a patient and her partner choosing life is unmatched. Many men facing unplanned pregnancies secretly do want to be dads, but they just don’t know how to voice their thoughts or make that decision in a culture that promotes “my body, my choice.”

I think there are a lot of men that may have thought about volunteering as an advocate but just don’t feel prepared. My encouragement to them is that there is a lot of preparation that goes into being able to meet with a father in crisis one-on-one. Landry is excellent in helping guys through that process. If you’re interested and what’s holding you back is not feeling prepared, we are here to help you learn and gain that skill. – Dr. Paulus

ABORTION PILL REVERSAL

This year, Dr. Paulus joined our team to serve as our Abortion Pill Reversal Provider. The overwhelming majority of abortions are chemical due to the easy availability of mail-order abortion pills.

Most women and men are not counseled about the side-effects and potential risks that are involved with the abortion pills, and so we’re trying to get the word out that if a woman should take the first pill and have regret, we can, 68% of the time, successfully reverse the effects up until 72 hours. – Dr. Paulus

Men's Ministry Update

From Landry Coleman, Men's Services Director

Landry Coleman

This fall has been an exciting season for our fatherhood program at Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center! We’re thrilled to share that it has officially been re-branded as Noble Pursuit, a name that truly captures what this program is all about.

The heart behind Noble Pursuit is simple: to walk alongside men as they step into one of life’s most important roles, fatherhood. We believe being a dad is a noble calling, and every man deserves the support, wisdom, and confidence to pursue it well. Through community, mentorship, and practical teaching, Noble Pursuit helps men build the foundation they need to lead their families with strength and integrity.

One of the most exciting additions this year is a brand-new class, just for dads. New Dad 101 is designed specifically for men who are becoming fathers for the first time. It’s a relaxed, judgement-free space where guys can ask real questions, learn practical tips, and connect with other dads who are on the same adventure.

Along with this new class, Noble Pursuit offers one-on-one mentoring and opportunities for fathers to join life-skills and parenting sessions alongside their partners. Our goal is to remind men that fatherhood begins before the baby arrives, and that they don’t have to figure it out alone.

This year, we’ve been deeply encouraged by the growth of this program, and we’re excited to see all that God has in store in the seasons ahead. If you’d like to learn more about Noble Pursuit, or if you’re a man who feels called to invest in the lives of new fathers, we invite you to click here to get connected.

Ways to Get Involved

life center needs

Help us re-stock our shelves with diapers and wipes!

Diapers and wipes are an ongoing need as we continue serving hundreds of families each month. We’re looking for 21 partners to give $50 monthly to our Diaper Fund (or 42 partners at $25 monthly). Your support will help us purchase a pallet of EveryLife diapers each month and keep our shelves stocked for the families who rely on us.

Click here or below to give to our Diaper Fund. We are so grateful for your partnership!

Mentors

In our Pregnancy and Parenting Foundations classes, Mentors encourage our clients in their pregnancy journeys and offer rich, gospel centered community. This is a weekly commitment for 6 weeks, and your presence in the lives of these moms and dads makes an incredible difference. Currently, we are heading into our final classes for 2025, and are now needing mentors for 2026! The new 2026 schedule is now available here. If you are interested in serving as a Mentor, please email Pamela at pam@blueridgepc.org or visit brpcfriends.org/volunteer to apply.
