Engaging Students in Today's Conversations
At BRPC, we are passionate about educating youth on difficult topics such as abortion, and ensuring that they are receiving truthful information. This is an opportunity for high school age students and church youth groups to hear about the importance of making wise relationship decisions, as well as becoming educated and dispelling myths and misconceptions surrounding abortion.
Example Panel Discussion Questions

Below is an example list of questions that we often talk through at our panels. Our goal is help students gain clarity on abortion in an age appropriate manner.
- What is the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center? Tell us a little about who each of you are and what you guys do.
- Why did you get involved in this cause?
- Is abortion really that big of an issue here in Central Virginia?
- What would you say to a woman who has an unexpected pregnancy and is considering an abortion?
- What would you say to a woman who has had an abortion?
- Isn’t this just an issue that pertains to women? How could this debate relate to men?
- What can our students do to help the pro-life cause?
Afterwards, we open the floor to student questions.
