The opportunity and privilege to vote in Virginia’s 2025 election ends this coming Tuesday, November 4, 2025. This is one of Virginia’s most consequential elections in history with our Executive Branch and all Virginia House of Delegates up for election.
There is an urgent threat looming over the Commonwealth that puts everything you faithfully partner with us to accomplish at risk, and your help is needed!Although the Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center is not a political organization, there are times when legislative matters weigh so heavily on the work we do, and the people we serve, that we cannot ignore it. This is one of those times.
What is at stake:
The current election season we are in gives Virginians a chance to vote for lawmakers who will determine the future of a proposed state constitutional amendment we have communicated about before. This amendment will enshrine unrestricted abortion up to the moment of birth into lawas a “fundamental RIGHT” –available to ANYone, for ANY reason, performed by ANYone with :
- No conscience protections for medical professionals
- No parental involvement
- No safety standards
- And potential legal threats to pregnancy centers like ours

The amendment already passed the first legislative step earlier this year. If it passes again in January, it goes to voter ballots in 2026.
Current polling shows that 61% of Virginians would vote YES.
If passed, this amendment could identify pregnancy centers like ours as “infringing, burdening, or denying” the right to abortion of those we seek to serve simply because we offer alternatives to abortion. This could open the door to lawsuits and new regulations that would make it nearly impossible for us to continue serving the women, men, and children who need us most.
The time to act is NOW
The good news is that YOU can help stop this amendment. In fact, this may be the only opportunity to do so. Because every House of Delegates seat is up for election this year, if we retain all prolife delegates — and flip just a few seats that will result in a prolife majority, we can kill this amendment on the House floor. We’re asking God to do just that through your vote.
Friend, this is not about “politics;” (although politics matter because politics affect policy; policy affects people, and PEOPLE MATTER to God). We are not just fighting for policy—we are standing in the gap for souls. This is spiritual warfare. And we must not stay still or silent. The time to act is NOW.

In 2024, 38,000 children died in abortions in Virginia, and our annual volume of abortions grew 126% in the past 7 years. The amendment will mean no restrictions, no limits, and no life-saving measures: the lives lost will only increase. What will you do?
